Dear Families,

Wow! Just as restrictions were being lessened and we found ourselves returning to sports and gatherings, we are now a week into remote learning with this new community outbreak. How important is it that we all work together to look after one another and remember:

It is a time of hope! 

Hope that the quick lockdown will be a circuit breaker and we will be back to our normal routine very soon.

It is a time of courage!  

Courage that we can have the strength to face all of the adversity that is presenting to us at this difficult time.

It is a time of love! 

A time to focus on your family and taking the time to focus on the things you can control at the moment.

It is a time to be supportive of others!

It is a time where we put our Catholic social teachings into overdrive and ensure all of the poor and vulnerable in our community are supported. 

Please reach out to those in need and check in on yourself and allow others to reach out to you.  Ask yourself “How can I be the hand of God reaching out and being of service to others?”.

And above all be grateful! Grateful for your family, grateful for our country, grateful for your own health and wellbeing. Try to find small things to celebrate and not focus on things you can’ t control.
